I had this restaurant marked on my map before I arrived. A stone's throw from the train station - absolutely the best stop before starting your time in Cefalu, or a meal on the way out. This family business has really got things sorted out - great food and service. There may not be air conditioning, but this place was full with a wait line outside. It has seating for around 30-40 people (depending on the size of groups). Concept is very simple overall for the customer - pick your pasta and your sauce. There are specials of the day for a little something extra, but overall great prices. The food is very quick to come out, and boy is it hot - right out of the pan. The pasta dishes tasted great and we had a little side salad as well. The serving is hearty and you won't leave hungry for sure. You have to stop by this place. We stopped in for take out to take to our apartment. Pasta selections are extensive. The staff was helpful in making good pairings. Service was quick and food was hot even when we got home. Dining in is popular and there was a wait to sit. Also there was nowhere to sit inside while waiting for take out so you have to wait outside.

The freshness of the pasta is unbelievable! The sauces are delicious, the service was quick and very friendly! Highly recommend.  It's a little walk away from the tourist area, but well worth it! The prices are very reasonable too!

We noticed a pastry shop with big crowds in front of it. Once it happened to be different (probably we came much earlier than they usually have lunch and we quickly got a seat. The selection is large, the pastas are delicious, the staff is efficient, friendly, they understand English, we got along easily.
