Definitely a more upscale steakhouse. Service was definitely a highlight for us, and elevated the food. I got to pick my steak out and we had a special for Valentine’s Day.

Great picks for starters and primis, but of course the steak was the star of the show and was incredible.

Would highly recommend the gnocchi, as well as the dessert cart. Great place for a lovely romantics evening.

Great Atmosphere! Beef Tartar and Carpaccio were excellent! Best during our trip! Unfortunately the burger we ordered was served cold and not made as specified. The steak was good,  but not made as specified. We ordered medium, but it was more rare than we wished for.
We accidentally ordered white wine instead of red which they gladly changed with no hesitation, thank you for that!

I went there at the recommendation of chat GPT, ha!

Let me preface this with the knowledge that I am not really a steak connoisseur. I do enjoy good food and a fabulous dining experience.

I went right at 18:30 when they opened, so no wait. I was seated right away. Points taken away because the host did not hang my coat but did hang everyone else’s.

They have some bread on the table. I went for the steak so I didn’t need time to peruse the menu. I ordered the Bistecca Chianina about 1 kilo. They brought the steak out for me to approve before they cook it. I asked for it medium and I got the weird look from my waiter so we went with medium rare. Again, new experience, gotta try what the locals suggest. I also ordered the friend artichokes.

While I waited, I was served freshly backed focaccia with the house sauce, one with meat and one with anchovies. They were spectacular! I can only imagine how delicious their pastas are!

My steak came out and not going to lie, I saw it and thought, oh no, it’s too rare, I am not going to like it. I waited until the server cut it and put salt on it.

Took my first bite and I was taken to heaven! It was DELICIOUS! I was so surprised and the tenderness and rich flavors. Bite after bite after bite, I ate the entire cut!

The artichokes were tempura style. A little too greasy for my liking, so I only had a few. I’d honestly recommend something fresher, a salad or veggies instead of what I ordered.

I went with the recommended red wine by Russell Brunello Castel Giocondo. It paired excellent.

My waiter, Alessandro, was so enthusiastic, patient, an expert at suggestions and I can see that he provided all his guests with the same energy and delight!

Definitely recommend checking this spot when visiting Firenze.

Attended due to good google reviews. Sadly we did not have an experience that reflected these reviews.
From the start our waiter was somewhat haughty bordering on rude. He did not listen to our requests and when I tried to explain a dietary need he laughed.
Entree’s we ordered were not delivered.
The Milanese chicken was essentially overly salty, dry chicken tenders.
The steak tartar was good.
I can’t honestly recommend this place. Florence is a big city with many great restaurants. This is not one of them.

We had a good dinner at Regina. The service was classy and the place is elegant. The menu was a bit confusing but we ordered (or at least thought) a bistecca but when it was served it did not look quite like a t-bone but maybe I have misunderstood something. The meat was prepared rare of course and was good but not as tender as we have had other places but I guess it all depends on the cut. We also enjoyed a bone marrow starter that was a bit disappointing as we wanted to taste more bone marrow and not just lots of topping - but my fried bread dough with ham was amazing. All in all, a lovely evening with good food in a very classy, elegant restaurant.
