Beautiful restaurant with a lovely interior! The pasta and the desserts were delicious and the service was super friendly and professional. We walked by this place slightly before lunch time and got lucky with a table and no reservation. Shortly after the place was packed so I definitely recommend making a reservation. The spicy nduja pasta had a good kick to it. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Florence.

We tried to go to Camillo restaurant recommended by a local but without reservation, we could not get in.  We ended up going to this one which is close by.  Unfortunately it’s very disappointing though it’s recommended by Time Out.  The beef tartar was chewy with no taste of beef and seasoning.  The ravioli was standard.  The worst was the lamb shank which was tasteless. The fact that the whole restaurant was filled only by tourists told us a lot about this restaurant.

the place is undoubtedly beautiful, the decor and atmosphere are great. the menu is special with typical seasonal gourmet dishes. good choice for vegetarians too. the food is delicious, the portions are small. the prices are high but it's worth it. the wine selection is very good. the staff is very nice, the service is fast.!

Top spot in Florence!

I love coming here and was able to sit at the wine bar twice during my stay in the city.  The meal at ISB, was by-far one of the best during my time in Italy.  The atmosphere was incredibly cozy, the staff welcoming, and the meal was exquisite. The veal sweetbread pasta was other-worldly, I wish I could live in that bowl.
