A beautiful residence hotel in the middle of Siena. Each room is different so I’ll only share my thoughts on the Design Suite. It was huge!! With a seperate lounge and bedroom, both very generous in size with a twin bathroom and walk in closest. My daughter and I felt very comfortable and could enjoy some down time in our room as well as exploring the local sights.
Something to be mindful of is the stairs, there are many stairs and only a small lift for luggage.
Staff are on site for limited hours which was not a problem for us but should be noted.
This really was a home away from home and a real highlight of our trip to Siena.

The hotel has a beautiful boutique-palace design and a unique atmosphere that we believe deserves at least 4 stars in European standards. We had the pleasure of spending a night in the Junior Suite, which made a spectacular impression on us and which we highly recommend. Probably the best choice in Siena in this price range.

Lovely rooms, spectacular ceiling art, fabulous breakfast, lovely hosts. 8 rooms total. Can be a bit noisy at night due to restaurant at back of hotel.  Pleasant 10 min walk to basilica. Free overnight parking outside the ZTL zone is an 8 min walk with luggage. Google will route thru the ZTL zone routinely. Picked a different route to stay out of ZTL. Some closer parking is also available at the stadium. Would definitely return to stay here.

Beautiful centrally located hotel with excellent service and a lovely breakfast.
Tea and coffee  available all day. Valet services are also available. They organized an anniversary welcome at my husband’s request for an additional fee.
We did have a few issues with hot water, a light etc that were fixed promptly. The hotel could definitely do with a bit more updating.
We could hear the music from the  pizza place below us until 12am despite the wooden shutters on our windows

We had a very pleasant 2 night’s stay in the Sapphire Room at Relais degli Angeli. The property is beautiful and centrally located in Siena’s center, close to restaurants, cafes, and sights.

The staff was friendly and welcoming, room was spacious, quiet, and well decorated.

Morning breakfast offered a good variety between sweet and savory items as well as espresso coffee and cappuccino’s.

We highly recommend it!
