This is indeed a "contemporary osteria", as it describes itself. We had two extremely pleasant lunches here. Simple things, but executed with class, good produce and attention to detail, showing real talent in the kitchen. Sparkles of creativity here and there.
It will be hard for example to forget a delightfully smooth and tasty potato cream with prawns and crispy "pancetta" (think crispy bacon), simplicity and goodness itself. Likewise for a delicate and incredibly satisfying chicken salad with vegetables. A risotto with mixed mushrooms was intense and exemplary, and so were a dish of lamb (perfect cooking of the meat and lovely jus) and a beef tartare.
Desserts are both rustic and elegant, and above all, yummy.
Service is relaxed and friendly, prices are reasonable for the quality. The three dining areas, of different characters, two inside and one  outside, are all inviting. As a bonus, we met two stars here: the talented and extroverted chef of a nearby Michelin starred restaurant; and Arturo, the lovely resident dog.

We went to this restaurant a few years ago and it was magical. We went back this year and although the atmosphere in the garden is still wonderful the new management is unfortunately very different to the previous owners. When we asked for some olive oil with our bread we were told this was not possible. We were actively ignored by the staff (apart from one younger man who was great) whenever we tried to ask for anything such as an extra glass for the water we had ordered or when we asked if our desert was coming soon (after having waited for an hour). The portions were very small and even though we had 3 courses my teenage children were all still hungry afterwards, as was I. We had some ham and salami as a starter platter but there was only really one or two pieces for each of us. The lasagne I had tasted good but it was a very small portion with no side salad etc. It was just a small piece of lasagne on a large plate with nothing else. The whole picture when it was served looked something from a cantine. We felt unwelcome. It was such a shame after the wonderful experience we had last time but I guess sometimes things change for the worse. When I mentioned the difference to the lady who I believe was the manager there was no apology but she was basically rude and unapologetic. The good thing is there are plenty of great places to eat in this area so next time my family and I are here we will not need to go back.

I have to believe the two bad reviews are either fake or in bad faith — the lightness and excellence of the food could not have been better. Really wonderful experience — and the “giardiniera” was simple and divine. Bravissime!

Ambiente molto accogliente, informale con un'atmosfera familiare che ho scoperto grazie ad un pranzo organizzato dall'azienda presso la quale lavoro. Ho mangiato molto bene ed il servizio molto amichevole si è sempre assicurato che qualcuno non avesse spazio e gradisse quindi il bis. Il ristorante dispone di un ampio parcheggio in stile rurale a due passi due dalla porta d'ingresso. Dispone di due salette piccole ma molto accoglienti, una delle due con il caminetto. Penso, ma potrei sbagliarmi, visto quanto premesso che sia sempre gradita la prenotazione giusto per essere sicuri ci sia posto. Difetti? Secondo me non è facilissimo da trovare e non ci passi sicuramente davanti per caso. Io comunque con il navigatore non ho avuto problemi ad arrivarci. Very welcoming, informal environment with a family atmosphere that I discovered thanks to a lunch organized by the company where I work. I ate very well and the very friendly service always made sure that someone didn't have space and therefore appreciated an encore. The restaurant has a large rural-style car park a stone's throw from the front door. It has two small but very welcoming rooms, one of the two with a fireplace. I think so, but I could be wrong, given that reservations are always welcome just to make sure there is room. Defects? In my opinion it is not very easy to find and you certainly don't pass by it by chance. However, with the navigator I had no problems getting there. No puedes equivocarte! Aquí se come muy bien y de calidad! Tienen también una pasta especial y muy deliciosa para aquellos que no digieren bien la pasta, normalmente no como postre, pero aquí vale la pena romper la dieta! El personal son muy simpáticas ☺️ el lugar está un poco fuera de las zonas turísticas lo que lo hace aún más especial y tranquilo!yo. Amo este lugar!!! Después de dos meses puedo reafirmar que cada vez que como aquí me dejan con una satisfacción por su sabor e imaginación en sus platillos! ❤️

You can't go wrong! Here you eat very well and of quality! They also have a special and very delicious pasta for those who do not digest pasta well, normally not as a dessert, but here it is worth breaking the diet! The staff are very friendly ☺️ the place is a little outside the tourist areas which makes it even more special and quiet! I love this place!!! After two months I can reaffirm that every time I eat here they leave me satisfied with their flavor and imagination in their dishes! ❤️
