Firstly. Lovely service. The staff are very polite and attentive. However. If you are going to charge such a premium for food (€370 for two) then please don’t pack people in so tight.

If I was paying similar prices in London (which I do) I would never expect such a cramped dining experience. We were seated upstairs fyi. Also it was absolutely boiling!

Would I recommend? No.

Harry’s Bar in Venice was the birthplace of the Bellini, so we had Bellinis!! The drink was delicious and the service very good. The room was crowded with tourists and some local people too.

Atmosphere is nice, service is ok (cipriani Dubai was better to be honest).
Prices are of course very high compared to other places in Italy but here you have the historical significance so I can agree to them, but they are high compared to Cipriani Dubai which i don’t really understand.
Then again you don’t go here if you check prices!

Visited the Harry’s Bar/Cipriani several times both in London and Monaco; this was my first time at the Venice one which I really wanted to visit.
We had a fantastic experience! Everything was absolutely perfect, starting from the moment I called to make a reservation (which I would really advise). Both the food and the service were above expectations and if you haven’t tried it yet I would recommend to leave some space for dessert, as their classic meringue cake is delicious!
Would definitely visit again!

Lastly, I truly do not understand the negative comments on service and pricing.
This is not a fast food, it is piece of history with good service and great food. The portions are also very very generous. I wouldn’t expect anything less for what they provide.

Big let down... THE BELLINI came out of a bottle.... for 22 Euros, I can buy a case of them... what a tourist trap. All hype, not worth it. I don't mind expensive drinks. IF YOU MAKE THEM BUY HAND, but literally watched him open the bottle and pour into a glass... what's the point. Don't go here, it's small, with an expensive let down.
