We were turned away the first night as it was fully booked but managed to get an early evening booking the following night. The staff were friendly, the small place was cosy and inviting. The food came exceptionally quick and the lasagna was so soft and so melt in your mouth, it was amazing! If I ever return to Venice, which is unlikely,  that would be the only reason.

Incredible AUTHENTIC Italian food. Menu is all in Italian but they are happy to explain the menu and translate. You must book a table as they get booked up quickly. I had the gorgonzola and pistachio pasta which was incredible! So delicious. Presentation and flavour were amazing. One of the best places to eat in Venice. The limoncello mousse was out of this world! So glad I visited!

Venetian restaurant with a focus on veg dishes. We were lucky to walk-in at opening time and get a table, they were booked almost for the whole day. I had high hopes but thought the food wasn’t amazing — the stuffed mushrooms and the tomatoes were okay, the pasta and lasagna weren’t. Felt there was too much oil and cheese in the dishes, more than any place we went to on the rest of our Italy. Maybe you’ll have a better experience if you avoid these dishes.

WOW. One of our favorite meals in Venice. Beautiful location and restaurant, incredible and fresh ingredients, you must try their signature pumpkin flan. Duck ragú was SOOO DELICIOUS

❗️Make sure you book if you want to dine here! We sat at the front of house and had to watch so many people get turned away since they’re so popular!

👀 If you don’t have a booking, try get in the gap between the first and second seating gap at around 8pm. Some tables finished early so there were availabilities before 9pm though you can only sit until 9/9:30pm usually.

The waitstaff are under a lot of pressure when the restaurants open at 7pm, but over time they were very warm and helpful, we got many more smiles throughout the meal and enjoyed our time at the Pumpkin!

The pumpkin flan was definitely our favourite dish. We’re giving 4 stars because sadly our main dish, the duck was overcooked, very tough and dry. It’s a thick cut of meat so harder to cook but we did expect better for such a popular establishment 😭

Cute decor, homey feel, and would come back next time I’m in Venice. Thanks for a lovely dinner.
