The cafe is famous for the cream puffs and rightfully so. They are perfectly tasty and reasonably sized so you can try several. It is a very classic and simple dessert which I do appreciate and love. Pistacchio and dark chocolate were my favorite and only whipped cream was less interesting because of the crunchy sugary glaze on top.

There’s certainly a crowd here so you won’t get immediate service even when Venice is devoid of tourists. They work so quickly though, you probably won’t have to wait for too long anyway, just don’t get scared of the long line and a bit of a screaming match to order at the counter.

This and the kosher bakery are the best bakeries in Venice, by far! Five out of five pastries, especially the apricot jelly donut, pistachio marzipan, and chocolate cream puffs. Visited twice on our trip and would order those donuts daily if I could!

Incredible breakfast pastries and espresso. Great vibe and kind folks. The made-to-order orange juice was also incredible.  I’d come here every morning if I could—made this Texan feel at home in Venice!

If you’re looking for an authentic Italian morning coffee experience, this is the perfect spot! There are no tables to sit at—you’ll enjoy your coffee and dessert right at the counter in a lively and bustling caffè. With over 100 bakery options to choose from and incredibly affordable prices, it’s hard to go wrong. I paid just €3.60 for a delicious croissant and a cappuccino. Highly recommend!
