We stopped at Sina Centurion for an afternoon coffee during our day in Venice. Having visited many 5-star hotel cafes and lounges around the world, this one unfortunately fell short of expectations. Considering the price, I anticipated a more welcoming and approachable atmosphere. However, the service felt somewhat snobbish, and the coffee was average at best. The only redeeming factor was the beautiful space itself.

10 euro coperto?! What a joke!  The food is trying to be creative but falls short of wow.   The view is nice on Gritti Palace and the service is nice.   We were not impressed by any of the dishes we ordered.  If you have to dissect a tiny piece of scallop to make it look fancy in an array of colorful sauces,  then something is not right.

Nice and cosy place to stop for an afternoon coffee and tea. Great views too.

Prices are not cheap, but it’s central Venice and in a 5 star hotel, and both service and quality of the tea was very good.

Only the biscuits / cookies served with coffee and tea weren’t great, but this seems to be a problem in Venice in general

Probably one of the best views in Venice if you can grab a seat on the terrace overlooking the water. Only about 6 tables, but it is open until 4pm so late afternoon might be your best bet without a reservation. The food was good and priced somewhat reasonably at 20-30 per plate. The drinks are not on the menu and for good reason, ridiculous prices at 16 Euro for a spritz! A bit of bait and switch, but with this view it’s hard to complain.

Food quality and presentation was very good.  Food is on the expensive side.....27 EUR for a burger seems high, but it was the largest burger (in terms of the meat patty size) that I have seen in my 3 trips to Venice.  I had the turkey and melted cheese sandwich w/ fries and it was very good.  The service was VERY attentive.
