So beautiful place, design and atmosphere. I tested Lunch set it was great. The bread from own bakery with olives 🫒 are perfect 👌🏼

A very refined dining experience. Food quality was high and the prices a little higher than nearby restaurants. The restaurant is beautiful, romantic and cosy. The service was nice and the little Amuse-bouche was a lovely surprise.

The most incredible dining experience. The food was exceptional, the staff were attentive and helpful. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Such a special restaurant.

The restaurant welcomed me with an entre’: a miniature crepe, a medallion of taste.
First plate: vegetarian soup, imaginative & colourful combination of white haricot beans and vegetables.
3 types of bread, homemade.
The ecstasy was hidden in the second plate: little burgers topped by special cheese & other distinctive ingredients - credits to the chef I won’t reveal any.
My dilemma: next time I return to dine at Il REFETTORIO shall I order again the little burgers or try a new surprise  from the menu?
The palette rejoices in a serene atmosphere that envelopes you as soon as you enter; it imposes low voices and sound. Targeted warm lightening & green plants over clean wooden surfaces - the fans of minimal cleanness would love it.
The selection of wines is exquisite, and you will be led to the best choice by the expert sommelier.      I skipped the desert.
Overall a very pleasant experience!

I feel like I have previously given too many 5 stars, because this place was exceptional. I wish I could give them 6 stars. It was the perfect way to cap my European trip.

I was looking for non-traditional local food, and I got it, but it was much better than I expected. I had the mountain egg starter, sole main, and the chocolate/raspberry mousse dessert. Everything on the plate belonged there, balancing the taste and texture. Each plate was a journey and I feel the taste experience is worth more than just how much food is on the plate.

On another note, I have some sort of wheat sensitivity, but I don't make a big deal out of it because I am not as sensitive as a celiac. I mentioned I tend to avoid bread, and my server made sure to make adjustments to my meals, including bringing bread I could eat. I appreciated all the wine suggestions as well. 10/10 experience.
