Restaurant was an uncomfortable temperature, very hot and stuffy. Service was slow and not friendly - had a guy with glasses who seemed grumpy and reluctant to be there, taking forever to clear dishes, quite different than other hospitality I’ve experienced in Venice. The raw Sicilian prawns were good and price was ok for the quality. The 44 euro lobster spaghetti with Parmesan foam was flat and disappointing. The pasta was a bit overcooked, barely tasted like lobster, and was on the salty side. Parmesan foam didn’t add anything… I’m surprised the ratings are so high. I’ve had better service and food at plazas with much lower ratings in Venice. Also 3.8 euro cover charge, on the high end, and for the sad bread basket they gave… (worst I’ve had on my trip in Venice)… it’s a bit high

Warm and professional service by Mauro! Our meal was exceptional from start to finish thanks to his guidance, recommendations, and insight into Venetian cuisine and culture. We felt comfortably at home and charmed beyond expectations all at the same time. We would absolutely recommend this hidden gem (even if it’s just around the corner from St. Mark’s Square!) to anyone visiting Venice and looking for an excellent culinary experience!

The best food we had in Venice—flavorful, expertly prepared, and worth returning for. The service, however, was inconsistent. Our server had a bit of an attitude, forgot our second glass of wine, and even poured the wrong one. Despite these missteps, the quality of the food outweighed the service issues, and we’d gladly come back for another meal.

Wow! Amazing dinner and experience! I cannot speak highly Enough about this restaurant! Amazing, thoughtful service. The food was delicious! Prices are great for being in the heart of the action. We got the truffle fettuccini and it was to die for! I will be dreaming of it for many nights to come! Wish we ate here every night of our trip. They are small so make sure to make a reservation.

We had an amazing dinner here. The staff were very friendly and everything we had was excellent!! Definitely need to try this place if you are in Venice and looking for a delightful meal.
