The service was great , attentive, and patient , we had the fish of the day a red mullet, a ribeye steak, and calamari for starters. Just bottled water.  We polished it all off .. Great freshly made food , high standards. It's a bit on the pricey side but for a special occasion a definite place to eat. Book in advance & we sat outside facing the bay , which was a real bonus. Would recommend for that special occasion.

Simply splendid! I spent 6 days in Malta and dined in Peperoncino 3 times. Fantastic food, fast and friendly service, beautiful environment...five stars!

We came here after a change of plans, we chanced it and they were so kind to make space on a busy Saturday.
Staff were super friendly, great humour and very helpful! The live music was great and atmosphere was cosy.
Food was delicious, fresh and great flavour. Highly recommend the fish of the day, Maltese platter and steak… although everyone loved their dishes!

Food was amazing, service impeccable and atmosphere cozy and romantic (we were lucky to dine during a night with live music).
The only reason I am giving it only 4 stars is because of the price compared to most other restaurants in the area. We were charged 25 euros for a Maltese platter that we split as a starter, and the fresh fish of the day (sea brim) was 34 euros for about 450g (with skin and bones). It usually costs 5-6 euros per 100 grams in other places, and this one had nothing extra to justify it.
