Geweldige avond waar wij echt verwend zijn door Chef Seb die zelf het hoofdgerecht aan tafel voorzag van een heerlijke zachte wintertruffel, samen met wijnkeuzes van Sommeliers Almar en Vladimir die bij elk gerecht "Spot On" waren. Erg leuk om het tussengerecht aan de "Chefs Table" te eten en letterlijk even in de keuken mee te mogen kijken. Dank voor de mooie ervaring en graag tot de volgende keer.

Wonderful evening where we were really spoiled by Chef Seb who provided the main course at the table with a delicious soft winter truffle, together with wine choices from Sommeliers Almar and Vladimir who were "Spot On" with every dish. Very nice to eat the entree at the "Chefs Table" and literally have a look in the kitchen. Thank you for the wonderful experience and see you next time.

3 gangen diner zat al in ons arrangement. Hierbij hebben we halve glazen genomen van het bijpassend wijn arrangement.
De amuse viel ons iets tegen, maar verder waren wij zeer prettig verrast. Ook de wijn/spijs combinaties waren erg goed. De twee heren in de bediening kwamen over als natuurlijke gastheren. Het eten zag er qua opmaak ook fantastisch uit. Onze favoriet was het voorgerecht van eendenlever en boerderij kip met een glas sauvignon uit de Loire vallei.

A 3-course dinner was already included in our package. We took half glasses of the matching wine arrangement.
We were a bit disappointed with the amuse, but otherwise we were very pleasantly surprised. The wine/food combinations were also very good. The two gentlemen serving came across as natural hosts. The food also looked fantastic in terms of presentation. Our favorite was the starter of duck liver and farm chicken with a glass of sauvignon from the Loire Valley.

Prima avond gehad, maar wel met de nodige schoonheidsfoutjes. Zo zaten er graatjes in onze paling, wat natuurlijk geen effect heeft op de smaak van een gerecht (dat was dik in orde) maar wel op de manier waarop je een gerecht eet. Ondanks dat we dit doorgegeven hebben aan de keuken, kwam hier geen reactie op. Tussen gerechten was de wachttijd soms bijzonder lang. Nadat we eindelijk een van de gangen uitgeserveerd kregen, bleek ik, ondanks duidelijke vermelding vooraf van een schelpdierenallergie en bevestiging van verschillende mensen van de bediening, coquilles voorgeschoteld. Dat werd weliswaar opgelost door een nieuw gerecht te bereiden, maar dan zit je ineens wel in je eentje te eten in plaats van met z’n vieren. Op dit niveau mag dat niet gebeuren. Los daarvan is het voorzetten van een product waar iemand allergisch voor is natuurlijk uit den boze. Dit had bijzonder onaangenaam kunnen aflopen. De bediening is vriendelijk, maar komt af en toe ook wat rommelig over. Overall hebben we een gezellige avond gehad met lekker eten, maar Michelin waardig was het eerlijk gezegd niet helemaal.

We had a great evening, but with some minor flaws. For example, our eel had bones in it, which of course has no effect on the taste of a dish (which was perfectly fine) but does affect the way you eat a dish. Even though we passed this on to the kitchen, there was no response. The waiting time between dishes was sometimes very long. After we were finally served one of the courses, despite clearly stating in advance that I had a shellfish allergy and confirmation from several staff members, I was served scallops. That was solved by preparing a new dish, but then you suddenly find yourself eating alone instead of the four of you. That shouldn't happen at this level. Apart from that, serving a product to which someone is allergic is of course out of the question. This could have ended very unpleasantly. The service is friendly, but sometimes seems a bit messy. Overall we had a pleasant evening with good food, but to be honest it was not quite Michelin worthy.
