We enjoyed our time greatly at the ML restaurant, because the food was extremely tasty, it was more of an experience. The service is good, and they are friendly, I wish they had a couple more less pricey wine in their menu. The 6 course menu is about 115 euros, it is definitely worth it if you are looking for a culinary experience.

I had breakfast in a bistro, anticipating something special as it's affiliated with a Michelin star restaurant. In fact the food was just good, with not the best coffee.
What you really do have here - is an amazing view, that's 10/10.
So, the bistro is a nice place, but please do not anticipate high gastronomy.

This is related to the bistro, not the fancy restaurant. We reserved a table for two. They were extremely chaotic walking us through different rooms looking for the table. Then they kicked two other patrons off of a big comfortable table for three and sat us there. Then they said oh, we thought you were three. It was quite odd. They made us very nice cocktails, a Negroni and whiskey sour. Really good. I ordered a so called smashed burger, which came with fries but they didn’t tell me so I ordered a separate order of Parmesan fries with truffle mayonnaise. My partner ordered a steak. We ordered two glasses of Sicilian wine. They brought us two burgers. Then they thought they had the wrong table and took it back. My partner told them he ordered steak. They reordered it. The burger was not a smashed burger. It was a small thick soggy patty. The opposite of a smashed burger. Also undercooked. The fries and sauce were great. My partner’s steak was good when it arrived. No idea why it had a log of brioche on the plate. When we paid they had a long search for our coats. They finally found them in a back room. This was a lot of chaos for a soggy, undercooked 20 euro burger. Please send your chef to America to study burgers

I visited Haarlem with my husband, we decided to go to ML Bistro, because it was located in a nice place. I ordered the "French onion soup". OMG! The soup was terrible! A salty vinagary water  with a crouton sumerged in the acidic compound that made the bread soggy and disappeared in the vinegary salty water, I didn't even see cheese! Maybe they didn't add any cheese. Who knows! The only thing I could notice was that the soup was black and you could see the onion hairs, no butter, no tasty at all. Making French onion soup is an art, even the choice of the bowl was wrong. A black small bowl, shouldn't be a white bowl with a small mouth to keep the bread floating on top? On the other hand, my husband ordered the club sandwich, that is another sad story, over cooked small pieces of chicken on over toasted bread and chips from a grocery bag. I commented to the waiter that my soup was not good and he said "our chef is a Michelin star chef!", oh I didn't know that! But you know what, so scratch one star from the chef, it didn't pass my test. The worst part is that the waiter did not offer to change the tasteless water for something else, as if I had to accept the mediocre food just because the chef has a noble title in the gastronomic field. Maybe the chef should visit Le Fouquet's on Champs-Elysées, Paris to learn what an onion soup is.
