Had an absolutely brilliant night at De Zeeuw!! From the moment we got there the staff were attentive and super warming all night.

The food was delicious, there were levels of complexity for every course but matched with a simplicity in the delivery.

We’ll definitely be heading back to explore more of the menu in such a well designed and relaxed space.

Definitely worth booking a visit in!

Honestly one of the best restaurants in Haarlem. Delicious food and real creativity when it comes to vegetarian dishes - real explosion of flavour! The husband and wife team are so warm and welcoming. And the wine pairings are simply divine! So special. We have been lots and will be sure to go again! Thank you!

Very nice looking place at the corner of the street. Some of the dishes was nice, but some of them was not that good at all. Everything looks very nice, like on the picture, but some of the dishes was missing the taste. (Not all of the dishes). The prices are like in restaurant with michelin star, the service unfortunately not.

Jeroen and Janine run this establishment of the highest quality. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and professional. Their execution on food is masterfully done and you can always expect a nice surprise twist to the flavor of a dish vs what you might expect just based on description. This flare is one of the main reasons I keep coming back. It doesn't end there however. The dishes are always a sight to behold (see photos) and I always look forward in particular to the amuses and dessert. The wine selection is solid and paired well with the menu too. Environmentally the place is quiet and has an intimate feeling, which I far prefer to the 'dining hall' scale that some other restaurants aim for. Lastly, make sure you get the cheese.

I was at De Zeeuw at the end May. Had the chef’ tasting menu and it was spectacular!!! I still remember the deep and amazing taste of that bbq eggplant… great service and decent wine list. Planning to come back soon. Thanks team De Zeeuw! Cya soon!
