Wat jammer dat de tuin van De Wilg buiten openingsuren van De Wilg zelf niet meer toegankelijk is. We hebben er vorig jaar op een mooie zomeravond zo heerlijk aan een van de tafels een kleine picknick gehouden, waarvan we zeker waren dat deze geen overlast voor de buurt opleverde. Graag hadden we dat nu -- in post-Coronatijd, waarin we met mijn oude moeder nog altijd voorzichtig zijn en dus iets in de buitenlucht wilden doen -- op eerste Paasdag weer willen doen. Kans dus dat de zaak op slot zit. Doodzonde, dat een en ander dus kennelijk niet meer ook voor de buurt (mensen zonder tuin) als plek kan functioneren waar men graag komt/zit en (zonder overlast voor omwonenden) iets 'organiseert'. Alleen maar naar kijken dus.

What a pity that the garden of De Wilg is no longer accessible outside opening hours of De Wilg itself. Last year we had a lovely little picnic at one of the tables on a beautiful summer evening, which we were sure would not cause any inconvenience to the neighborhood. We would have liked to do that again on Easter Sunday - in post-Corona times, when we are still careful with my old mother and therefore wanted to do something outdoors. So there is a chance that the case is closed. It's a shame that things can apparently no longer function for the neighborhood (people without a garden) as a place where people like to come/sit and 'organize' something (without inconveniencing local residents). So just look at it.
