Booked a lunch yesterday with my family (including a toddler). They called a day prior to confirm my reservation (and dietary) and inform that they don’t have a child seat (it’s not really for young kids, understandable).

Upon arrival, they welcomed us and let us in even though we came earlier. We chose 3 chapters meal and upgraded the main to roast duck. Everything tasted delicious from amuse to main course. The tea pairing was also complementing very well.
If you’re planning to visit, I’d recommend to try their roast duck. It’s very fragrant with crispy skin, juicy and tender meat. Plus point that it’s not fatty. The combination of the roast duck in a Chinese pancake with the fresh veggies, along with the plum sauce & chili oil (it’s so delicious, I’d like to have a bottle of this chili) was the highlight of our lunch.

Would come back again but maybe without my tot. Thanks to all the staff & chef who were very sweet and accommodating.

I always wanted to visit Zheng, as I was intrigued by the fusion of Chinese and Fine Dining, and it didn't disappoint. We took the 7 course/chapters and had both the vegetarian and normal option. Each course had 3 small dishes, and they complemented each other really. There was always an component which tied them together, such as cucumber, kimchi or pineapple. As an extra option you could take the duck, and I highly recommend it, as the skin was really crispy and seasoned really well. We also took both the wine and tea paring, and both were excellent, though I prefer the tea, as it was more unique. All in all a great experience for a very reasonable price.

I wanted to go to something different for a cool and nice dinner and Zheng was exactly that.

The menu goes in “chapters” instead of rounds and you have the option to go for a tea or wine to match with the food.

Every round of food was very carefully selected and where just about right, balance whise and portion whise.

We both had tea and wine to match the foods and the tea was something very cool to experience and actually was better than expected with dinner.

Of course it is an expensive restaurant but if you enjoy dinners like this I can defiantly recommend going here and trying out something different.

One of the best dinners that I have in Den Haag.  We took 7 courses incl. Wine pairing and we really enjoyed it. Every course contains several items and they really deserve five stars. The duck is a must to try! We will definitely come back.

We came here for a celebration dinner, and it did not disappoint! We had the 7 chapters with the crispy duck (and wine pairings) and we loved every course. The 7 chapters is a lot of food, be prepared, but it’s not overwhelming. The presentation of each course is unique and added to the experience overall. Would definitely recommend and would go again!
