I went there with a group of girlfriends during the Restaurant Week, with a fixed 4-course menu (excl. drinks, incl. amuse). The hostess offered to take our coats and umbrellas when we arrived and saw us to our tables. However, since the beginning she kept pushing us to order starters (even though we were going to get the fixed menu mentioned above). During the service she was never very friendly, often a bit curt and sometimes even rude. The other waitresses who brought us the food and explained the dishes were very friendly. And the food itself was perfect (I’m glad we didn’t order any starters before the menu arrived, because we were completely full after dessert). Would have been a 5-star review if not for the hostess.

We ordered the 5 course menu, and the first 3 courses along with the amuse were so inventive, creative and tasty! That really set the stage for the main course which didnt live upto the same level as the other courses. I think I expected a bit more from the main dish. The dessert was also a bit of letdown compared to the other dishes. The start was great, but the end was a bit lacking. Also the service could be a bit more prompt. Took us quite sometime to order the drinks and get the menu started.

An explosion of flavours and textures! Delicious and creative! Beautifully done and with great detail. Very well deserved for the bib gourmand list.
Found the personnel very knowledgeable. Relaxed environment and great deco, colourful and cosy with a touch of sophisticated elegance. Good environmental music.
Certainly a place to return over and over again. Now on my list of favourite restaurants in Rotterdam!

Surprisingly, this place has just about the best service I've ever found in 2+ years in the Netherlands. However, I would expect this level in all comparable restaurants.

We tried the "4-course + amuse-bouche + bread with butter" menu. It was good, but not outstanding. Especially when you consider the price ratio. One word, I wouldn't come here for dinner to order any individual dishes. The amuse-bouche and dessert were most memorable, perhaps, ceviche as well.

Among the unpleasant things:
- nothing to drink if you don't want alcohol or canned drinks which I don't understand. Why don't you make homemade lemonade or whatever instead of presenting canned soda in a fancy way?
- of course, no one told us in advance about the price of water. But what's even weirder, they don't leave the bottle on your table, they take it away and pour it themselves from time to time.
