Atmosphere is nice with the settings of portraits surrounding the dining area. First, we tried the fish soup which is unsurprisingly delicious as per previous recommendations by multiple google reviews. I personally tried the Halibut, tasted a bit dry so does the duck breastfeeding meat. The lamb ribs is a bit on the salty side, the beef (medium rare was done perfectly. I tried the Hansa Porter beer, it's nice and personally I think it tasted better the stout maybe it's a little bit sweet instead of the usual sour dry.
We're lucky to managed to get 6 seats when we reached Bergen and checked in late at 9.30pm. So managed to get 6 seats at 10pm which they closed at 11pm.

Food was amazing. Had their fish soup, sirloin steak, 0.5kg of mussles, Christmas meat platter and Christmas Fish platter. All 5 dishes were sumptuous. Fish soup was very creamy. I liked it but my family had different views (they felt it too creamy). Of interest was the Christmas meat platter which contained rehydrated lamb which was tender n delicious.

The food was excellent and all dishes were delicious. Cooked and flavoured to perfection.  The ambience and adecor are also very nice and give nice Nordic atmosphere.  The service is the only area which iwas not quite to the same standard pr consistency, but I still feel it is a well earned 5 stars overall.  I highly recommend the Reindeer.

Arrived at Bergen and saw this restaurant full of people at 4pm. I decided to try and since we dont have any reservation, we only have an hour to dine.
We tried the fish soup and the mussels as appetiser, and both dishes are awesome. I ordered the reindeer steak and my wife ordered the fish. They are amazing.
Recommended for those traveling to Bergen and try to make reservations in advance.

After disembarking from the plane, leave your luggage at the hotel and come out to find food. Qingkoubei is very delicious and fresh, paired with cream sauce for a better taste. I don't know how the French fries are fried, they are very crispy and delicious. The fish soup is very thick, and the cream inside adds flavor to the soup. The meat is also delicious and juicy. A very good and rejuvenating meal during the trip.
