When staying at the Clarion Hotel Admiral in Bergen Norway on the second floor you get a great view of the pier and all of the traffic boats coming in and out as well as the fjord tour boats. However, staying on the second floor means that you will hear the party going on on the first floor at night for this hotel does have a bar.

The breakfast was divine. They have quite the selection for you to choose from regardless of where you’re from, you’ll find something that you like! My favorite part about Clarion is the consistency in their breakfast for it is a huge amount of food to choose from.

The room we were in in particular was kind of small and it got cold at night. However, if you left the bathroom door open, it seemed to get very warm in there.

The bathroom was very nice. The bed is super comfortable and every comforter and pillow is feather down. It’s great for a quick retreat or a long day.

The hotel is situated nicely in between restaurants and public activities such as shopping, walking, the mountain tram and aquarium, and day tours!

I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone’s stay!

I loved this hotel.
We had a deluxe room which was spacious and comfortable. More importantly however we had unobstructed views over the harbour to Brugge and the funicular. Absolutely spectacular!
The breakfast was incredible! Best hotel buffet breakfast EVER!
Easy walking distance to the historic district.
We chose to take a taxi to the hotel from the train station as we had luggage, and it was a short 10 minute ride.
Perhaps the only issue was that the restaurant was not open the night we arrived, but there were plenty of choices within 5 minutes walk.
Thank you to all the staff for making such a wonderful set of memories.

Lovely hotel, easy to get to all the attractions. Slightly restrictive bar opening times but we found a lovely bar nearby. Good breakfast with all the usual options.

We booked a Deluxe Sea View room for three nights during New Year's Eve. The location was perfect, with stunning views of the harbor and the New Year's fireworks. The room had a small balcony, which was a nice touch. It was spacious, clean, and included a bathtub, making our stay comfortable and relaxing.

However, there were a few disappointments. The bed was not a double but two single beds pushed together, which made it very difficult to sleep comfortably with my partner without falling into the gap. Given the price of around €260 per night, this was quite disappointing. Additionally, the New Year's Eve dinner was not up to expectations. For €350 for two, it was a buffet with limited options and no real festive atmosphere, which didn’t match the high price.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel.
It is centrally located, the rooms are well appointed, and breakfast had a good variety of nice food. Once checked out, you can put your luggage in a locked storeroom,  and can use hotel lobby including free tea and coffee.
