Lovely stay in the beautiful city of Bergen! The breakfast was excellent, and the breakfast service was outstanding. A special mention to the young waitress Olena, a very helpful and accommodating young woman who ensures guests feel cared for. Thank you for the warm welcome!

Location - if you don’t mind getting a tram into the centre it’s great

Food - really enjoyed the breakfast, not a lot of choice but it was really nice for what there was. Restaurant was cute and the view was stunning

Room - funky room, very comfy bed/pillow, the only negative I would have is a I didn’t like the plug socket situation, there should be one on both sides of the bed.

Staff - everyone was really friendly and helpful, made my experience great.

I would stay here again, but next time I would bring an extension cable.

Location was around 5 mins walk from tram stop. Very quirky decor inside to include the rooms and the service was very friendly. I would have however appreciated electrical plugs near the bed and TV was not working although staff did offer me another room without hassle when made aware of this. Comfortable stay and would come again

I was pesimist and doubtful of this hotel before because of some reviews, but considering their affordable price compared to other Bergen's hotels, I finally choose to stay for 2 nights. Then they surprised me.
The room was spacious enough for 3 adults, especially the bathroom. It even fit two queen beds. The sofa bed is the same size as the bed. But mind you not all rooms are as big as ours, so please confirm beforehand.
Location is not in the city center so its not a noisy area. We need to walk 10-15 minutes to the nearest tram station, though there is a bus stop across the hotel. It's quite a hilly area so pushing around our luggages is difficult.. The breakfast room has amazing view of the city. Foods variety is not much but it's filling and delicious enough. Bonus point: they have a guest laundry room free of charge. The best thing is the staffs are very nice and try to be helpful all the time.

The place is a 2 ,5 star hotel.

Under “popular facilities” it states;

Free Wi-Fi in all rooms.
Parking.
Fitness center.

Parking is around 200 Norwegian crowns per day (not free) and the fitness center is down the road.
The gym has no affiliation with the hotel and therefore also cost money. 99 Norwegian crowns per visit, to be exact.
The description of this hotel’s facilities are misleading, to say it mildly.

The rooms have no air circulation.
If you want to be able to breathe at night, you have to open a window.
That’s what the receptionist does at home, she told me.
Problem with that, is, there’s two noisy roads in front of the hotel and it gets quite cold during the night.

The breakfast includes all the items an enlightened mindful person wouldn’t dream of buying in the supermarket.
After picking up a piece of crappy bread and yogurt, we had trouble finding a table.
We arrived at breakfast around 9:30 and there was unfortunately no available tables, since the hotel was fully booked - said one of the staffers.

There’s not sufficient light in the main room.
Only a lamp on the table and two small lights over the bed.
If you, like me, are a grown man of 190cm you’ll have trouble fitting in the shower.
I had to shower with an open door, which resulted in a wet floor.
There’s no drainage in the bathroom other than inside the shower cabin and no utilities to dry/wipe the floor.

Thanks for letting us stay with you but we won’t be coming back.
