Historic hotel with plenty of interesting and unique features..Rooms were spacious and had everything provided you would need for a short stay.  Great central location in Bergen to explore the surrounding area. Lovely breakfast included, serving both hot and cold food. Warm welcome from the staff, and helpful throughout our stay, sharing some useful local tips for the area. Overall, it was a very nice stay.

The attic style rooms on the top floor took some getting used to and the hotel is currently undergoing renovations, so will be curious to see how it comes out. That said, the location is unbeatable, the staff is very friendly and the breakfast far exceeded our expectations. Overall, a charming and positive experience and we had no major issues during out stay

We loved this hotel, so historic and cute and very centrally located for walking around the wharf and neighborhoods in Bergen. It was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was very nice. Breakfast was good. Service was excellent as I left an important item in the room and the staff mailed it back to me in the US!!

Very well located hotel in easy walking distance of all City Centre attractions and the wharf.  Good breakfast choice in this sympathetically converted building.  If I had to find fault it would be that even with all the lights on the room was extremely dark - a couple more floor lamps would have been very helpful.

Excellent location and friendly staff. Rooms were nicely decorated and cozy. Our room had a weird smell, like the exit vent of a kitchen? Hard to describe. Between 10pm & 1am we noticed on and off a strong cigarette smell coming in the room
