The staff is very helpful in every way from directions, advice, luggage storage, breakfast availability, directions, etc. The hotel has a nice terrace overlooking the city. Some rooms have nice views too. This is a well run organization. The location is up a hill and you can walk, Uber, or take the funicular. It’s a local part of town with a nice neighborhood park and restaurant in the park.

The staff in the hotel are very friendly and helpful. My room was bright and clean, and I liked that they offered different types of pillows to sleep on- the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was  great, with fresh fruit and fresh orange juice, and home made cakes etc. I didn't give 5 stars for the location because it was at the top of the hill (as the name of the hotel indicates) so one needs comfortable shoes- having said that, taxis in Lisbon are not expensive at all.

We stayed in a small quaint room with a lovely balcony which offered calming refreshing breeze and view of the water and a church located directly across the street.  I would later learn after commenting on the antiques artifacts displayed on the staircase landing on every floor, that the building was once the monastery of the very church across the street now converted to a charming hotel with attentive staff..

The breakfast offered was a lovely variety for all to enjoy.  I was especially appreciative in learning that many of the fresh eggs, fruits and vegetables served were organically grown and harvested from their farm.. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will come again..

Our room wasn't large but it contained a queen bed, a new bathroom and had everything we needed to be comfortable.
The managers on duty were very helpful and responsive to our questions and even sent us on our way with picnic lunches because we needed to miss breakfast to catch our flight home.
Location was central and within walking distance to many restaurants and tourist attractions. I subtracted a star because it's located on a steep hill that you must hike up and down (the entire city of Lisbon is full of these hills!)

Lovely hotel in quiet area. The room had amazing view of the city and the bed was comfortable.  They have a lovely terrace aswell looking over the city. The breakfast was lovely and had a good choice to choose from. Staff at hotel were very helpful and friendly. The only thing is hotel it at the top of steep hill. A 15 minute walk to centre of town. Definitely recommend
