Very unique hotel that sets a high bar for unique boutique luxury. Everything is meticulously designed to the highest standards and it makes you feel like you're royalty at a castle. The views from the rooftop are super stunning and really appreciated the tour of the entire hotel that the check-in agent gave.

The breakfast is a unique experience whereby it's omakase based on daily ingredients however you can add anything additional you like based on whatever they have in the pantry. I like a bigger breakfast and the offered menu breakfast over 3 courses was a little small but I was able to fill in the gaps with some of my favorite breakfast dishes.

The pool is small but quite enjoyable and we were the only ones there so it became a private experience. The rooms itself were decent sized and the Aesop amenities were top notch. They give you a free phone with data to use during your stay which was nice to save on cellular data roaming to browse the web while traveling throughout the city.

I would definitely only recommend this place for leisure trips as everything is a bit slower paced. The breakfast takes a long time as you have to order with waiters and the chefs prepare everything from scratch fresh. It can easily take 1-2 hours. It is the right environment to be relaxed and if you're in a hurry, I think it's unlikely the hotel can accommodate as it's set up to be a slow paced affair.

Great redemption using a free night certificate. The cash rate does seem a little high but it may be worth it for a once in a blue moon experience.

We had a very disappointing experience with this venue. The lack of customer-centric culture was evident from the start, as they seemed more focused on sticking to their strict policies rather than ensuring the success of our event. We felt pressured to move our event indoors from the garden based on their inflexible recommendations, which took away from the atmosphere we had originally envisioned.

The service during the event was shockingly poor. Despite having 70 guests, only two staff members were available, and they struggled to keep up with even the basics. Many of our guests left to dine elsewhere due to the slow and inadequate service. For the high price we paid, we expected a much higher level of care and professionalism.

We are treated very poorly by the hotel lobby guy. Today on October 8, 2024, at around 5 45pm,  my boyfriend and I who are tourists walked into this hotel after visiting the Miradouro Santa Catarina.  I was feeling very unwell from an underlying cold illness. The weather was cold and windy which made me feel even more sick. I walked into this hotel to keep warm and to sit in the lobby to schedule a Bolt ride back to our hotel.
My boyfriend is always very polite and asked the reception guy if we can sit on the sofa to call a bolt ride.  The guy at reception was very unkind to us. He asked us to leave immediately since we aren't hotel guests.  I told him I was feeling very sick and it was too cold outside for me. I just need to sit and call a bolt ride.  My boyfriend felt so unwelcome, he left while I sat on the sofa, very ill.  The reception guy continued to tried to get me to leave even though I told him I am trying to schedule a bolt ride and then I will leave. I had to call my boyfriend to come back into the hotel so i can get him to check his credit card on the Bolt App since it was not working. My boyfriend came inside feeling so uncomfortable and embarrassed, i had to comfort him since the reception guy was trying to kick us out. There were no other guests in the lobby and we were not disturbing anyone. There was no reason to treat us like homeless people. We are just tourists. I felt so upset this staff member of this hotel was so unkind and heartless to us and gave us a very bad experience today in Lisbon.

We planned and event there and we were not satisfied. Non type of flexibility in any decision to make. Slow catering services. We paid fees for space reservation outdoors and it was not returned despites its non use.

We had the sensation that they only care about money over the services offered. Definetly our company do not recommend to do any event there.

I stay in 5 star hotels around the world. This hotel was awful.

Rooms: there was significant water damage in my room. See the pictures below. I liked the asop bath items. The hotel flower arrangements were beautiful.

Services: appalling. There is a major lack of accountability and training.

Location: there is a lot of illegal activity around the hotel. My mother stayed here for a night and was afraid to leave her room after seeing the activity.
