Arrive early to avoid a long wait! But even with one, certainly worth it. Very tender, juicy & tasty steak skewers. Roast chicken also great. Sides and dessert didn't disappoint either. Amazing value too!

Words are not enough to describe the wonderful taste.
Went for dinner, arrived and there was a line outside, nevertheless didn’t take long to be seated. Please try the regional Poncha it’s wonderful, I am not from the island but that was the only one that I tried and loved it. The meat you can tell those were some very happy cows prepared by very happy and loving people. The staff is supper friendly. Please try the yogurt desert, I think it’s yogurt flan but it’s to die for. I will  go back to that island and for sure I will be going back to this place. The people are lovely. This place right now is living rent free in my mind.

PS: check your payment method before going, I easily paid with mbway but my day to day I use Revolut to which they don’t accept.

What a gem this is! I would recommend everyone to go check this restaurant when you are anywhere on Madeira. This doesn’t only feel like a very pleasing experience, but the food is fantastic. One of the best steaks I’ve ever had, the chicken was very delicious and all the sides where very good. Also try one of the house made puddings, they are very nice. Be aware of the waiting lane in front of the restaurant. We had to wait for around 10/15 minutes.

This was my first dinner in Madeira. It definitely does not disappoint! The service was very friendly, but more importantly, the food was Delicious!! Of course, I ordered the espetada ("bem passado" / well done as beef tends to be undercooked here), bolo do caco, molho frito, & the passion fruit pudding (highly recommended online). As you can see, the portions are really generous. I would recommend ordering the smaller sizes unless you want to take it home for another meal. Parking is along a two-way street on an incline so it can be tricky. And the wait for a table for one was less than 15 min.

It’s a nice local hot spot. A must try if you’re in Madeira. Their speciality is meat so you should try all of it … and don’t forget local specialities like garlic bread which happened to be one of the best we’ve tried in Madeira.
