Best meal in Porto!!  Now some may say one can’t compare apples to oranges. Yes I have tried different styles of cuisines on this Porto trip. Hands down this is the best experience. For a similar comparison, my husband and I love InDiferente much better than Mira Mira by Ricardo Costa. Very interesting to combine Brazilian recipes from the chef’s background and adapting to the Portuguese cuisine. Bravo! The food and the wine paring were exceptional!!! Kudos to the team. Fantastico!!!  Cannot beat the view at Mira Mira though 😉

My husband and I have dined at many fine dining establishments, including Michelin Star restaurants, and we both agree that InDiferente is the best dining experience we have ever had.

We did the “In Diferente” Tasting Menu with wine pairing. Each dish is so well conceptualized and the wine pairings work so well. You can tell that a lot of thought and planning has gone into perfecting their menu. We especially enjoyed the Veal and Caviar course.

The service was excellent. The servers are all so attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The dinner pace was perfect too.

I highly recommend this place. I truly hope they get their Michelin Star.

We had the absolute pleasure of dining at Indiferente, a one-Michelin-starred restaurant in Porto, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. We opted for two different Chef's tasting menus, each a carefully curated symphony of flavors and textures.

From the first bite to the last, every dish was a masterpiece. The presentation was exquisite, the ingredients were fresh and expertly sourced, and the flavors were bold and complex.  The staff was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable, guiding us through the menu and enhancing our dining experience.

We were particularly impressed by the innovative and creative approach to traditional Portuguese cuisine. The chef's passion for food was evident in every detail, and we left feeling truly inspired.

Indiferente is a must-visit for anyone seeking a memorable and delicious dining experience in Porto. It's not just a meal; it's an artistic journey.

At the time of writing this review, In Diferente restaurant holds a Bib Gourmand award from Michelin. However, the quality and presentation of the food, professional service, and atmosphere make it feel like a Michelin star establishment.

Chef Angelica Salvador, who runs the restaurant, brings traditional Portuguese cuisine with a modern twist, creating a delightful gastronomic journey that exceeds every expectation. Each dish is a delicacy for your tastebuds, offering flavors your mind never knew it craved.

The service was absolutely incredible. Each waiter knew the menu inside and out, answering every question with expertise. They were extremely professional, attentive to our needs, and ensured our wine glasses were never empty, seamlessly keeping the wine pairing flowing.

During this trip, I also visited another local Michelin star restaurant in Porto. While I won't disparage the specific Michelin restaurant, I can honestly say that In Diferente surpassed it in all categories.

We did the tasting menu and wine pairing (it is worth every penny). We both left full and believed this was the best meal we had while visiting Portugal. It is a must try if you are in the Porto area.

The tasting menu is a journey through expertly crafted dishes that showcase the chef's creativity and skill.

Our favorite was the Foie-Gras 2.0, a harmonious sweet blend of drunken pear, tonka bean, brioche, and "Alvarinho" vinegar.

Another highlight is the Veal Tenderloin, featuring smoked celery, green asparagus, parmesan, and truffle jus. The combination of smoky vegetables, flavorful jus, and impeccably cooked meat were unforgettable!

Beyond the food, the service is exceptional. The staff is super attentive, friendly, and very knowledgeable, enhancing the overall experience.
