Our favourite restaurant in Mallorca! We had the teppanyaki service and it was a really fun evening. Osman, the chef, is an amazing cook and put on a great show. They also accommodated my dietary requirements without hesitation and went out of their way to make it a truly special experience.

Had a lovely evening here to celebrate my wife’s birthday. We had the gyoza, bao, sirloin, and meagre fish (no idea how that actually translates but it was delicious). Followed up with mango ice cream and chocolate mousse. Great stuff. Amazing views.

A truly wonderful birthday dinner celebration at the Iberostar Katagi Blau Restaurant

I recently celebrated an important birthday milestone at the Iberostar Katagi Blau restaurant in Playa de Palma and, together with my guests, had a fantastic evening. The location, views, sunset, food, decor and service were all fantastic and exactly what I was hoping for. It was a truly memorable birthday evening for me and many of my guests enjoyed it so much, they are already planning to go back for sundowners and to try out the Katagi teppanyaki restaurant. I would especially like to thank Carolina Rodríguez (Guest Service Manager) and José Cortés (Maitre) for their help (and patience!) in organising the event, especially as it was at such short notice. They went out of their way to help me and to make sure my preferences and those of my guests were correctly noted, as well as providing a delicious diabetic dinner option for my friend Jenny. Much appreciated! A very special thanks also goes to Juan Pedro Martínez who was our head waiter for the evening. He worked tirelessly to provide a very friendly and excellent service from the minute we arrived and enjoyed aperitifs on the terrace and throughout the dinner for 23 people - not an easy task but he was always smiling and very attentive. When we mentioned the background music was too loud for us to converse comfortably, Juan Pedro immediately sorted the problem. Carolina, José & Juan Pedro are a real credit to Iberostar and the Katagi Restaurant. Thank you!

WOW. Our favorite restaurant of our visit to Mallorca. To start, the host is kind and attentive. She brought us to have lovely cocktails while we waited for our table and we took pictures with the most stunning view. The wait staff are friendly and detail-oriented. The owner himself is running around the restaurant, helping where needed. The food. The food. The food. Every bite was incredible and imaginative. We started with the steak tartare with mushrooms, and the artichoke confit. The latter was so unique. Fresh and rich but somehow also light and delicious. We finished with the mixed sashimi and the dry aged beef cheek - sensational. The fish must have been swimming yesterday, it was so fresh. The beef fell apart and its greens and puré  accompaniment were the most wonderful flavors to accompany an already succulent dish. We finished with the mango pana cotta, flavorful in so many unexpected and lovely ways. Thank you so much, Jose! We spoke to the owner to let him know how lovely our experience was, and he was so welcoming. Katagi Blau will be highly recommended by us to our friends and family and we cannot wait to return. The live singer was also lovely 🥰
