Great experience with knowledgeable and attentive waiting staff. The food was delicious, and I especially appreciated the detailed explanations of where each product came from, including its specific location on the island of Tenerife. A special touch was having one of the chefs come to say hello at the end of the dinner. The connection between the guests, the waiting staff, and the kitchen team was fantastic. I would definitely visit again on my next trip to Tenerife. I believe our main waiter was from Argentina, and I want to thank him for an exceptional evening.

We visited this marvellous restaurant in october 2024, and we were amazed by the excellence of the food consisting of carefully selected ingrediences from Tenerife, and in particular from the ocean surrounding the island. The waiters made this culinary experience one for us to remember, as the food was introduced relating to the island history, adding an extra dimension to the meal itself. To top it all we were served a wine pairing menu with local wines from the Canary Islands, and several of them where of mindblowing quality and perfectly matched with the corresponding dishes. The Bodegas Tameran 2023 made on the rare grape variety Marmajuelo, native to the Canary Islands, paired with dishes from the restaurant menu is something we will remember forever. Thanks to the chefs, the waiters and the sommeliers at Taste 1973 on Tenerife that made this evening an unforgettable experience for us.

Our recent visit to 1973 Taste Restaurant was an unforgettable experience, marked by an incredible mixture of flavours and colours using locally sourced produce. The staff's professionalism and warmth enhanced the dining experience, making it clear that 1973 Taste restaurant  is well on its way to earning a second Michelin star. It is certainly a must-visit place for anyone seeking an extraordinary dining experience.

We had the pleasure of dining here on the first night after the restaurant received its Michelin star, a well-deserved honor. The concept of our meal was a gastronomic journey across Tenerife in 13 courses, each created from local ingredients. Each dish was charmingly presented and explained by the highly attentive staff, who also shared insights into local history. The wine pairing was excellent, featuring a selection of outstanding wines from various Canary Islands. Our meal began at 19:45 and concluded four hours later. Time flew by as we thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. A heartfelt thank you to the entire staff for making the last night of our vacation an unforgettable highlight.

We had a wonderful experience and thoroughly enjoyed the carefully considered celebration of local produce and flavours through the 13 course tasting menu. Service was discrete and thoughtful, but also kind and welcoming. Let them help you with decisions, the cheese selection was so vast, but our man chose perfectly for us. He also suggested a lovely, very reasonably priced Canarian red by the glass for me as my husband was not drinking. Unfortunately, my husband was not feeling the best, but everyone was so sweet and they worked the pace of the meal around him, we were so grateful to them all. When there is so much international cuisine on offer, it is refreshing and heart warming to experience what feels like an homage to Tenerife.
