What an experience. The afternoon started with a private tour of their extensive wine cellar, which the Collection is not to miss. With the incredible tasting of a 1970 Rioja followed by an exquisite 6 course tasting menu with each dish being explained by the wonderful Cecilia - we came all as friends, left as family. I cannot recommend enough, if you go to Toledo, you have to go. If you don’t  believe me - look in their guest book, with comments from Johnny Depp and Gwyneth Paltrow to name a few.

Nothing screams: ESPAÑA! More than a meal at Adolfo Restaurant. 90% of the ingredients are from a 1Km radius, especially the wine that comes from their vineyard. I learned that Adolfo is the name of the father/ founder and now the restaurant is managed by his son Javier. If you read till here I’ll give you a tip: ask to see the Chef, Javi and you’re more likely to make a friend for life.
