Amazingly good food, wine, service and value.  We were traveling across northern Spain on a road trip and saw the Bib Gourmand rating stopped by for lunch, and were not disappointed.   The fit us in even though we did not have a reservation.  The restaurant was soon full with Spaniards - so clearly known regionally.  We wanted light fare so our waiter suggested the daily menu.  It started with an “amuse bouche” course which was delightful. For the main we had fish and steak tartar each. Both delicious. For desert the sorbet and cheese plate.  The bill cane to  per person: €24 euros for the daily menu and €2.40 for each glass of wine and €0.90 for the cortado. Highly recommended for value and the culinary experience.

We had a wonderful dinner here. We chose the menu gastronomico a la carte and tried the local Rueda and a Ribera del Duero. The food was perfect but best of all was the service which was really friendly, relaxed and chatting was easy. Great value for money. Palencia is a great stop over for those taking the midday ferry from Santander to UK.

One of the best dining experiences I had in the past 8 years. Quality, quantity, attention to detail, timings, BOH and FOH professionalism. It was a 10/10 experience since the moment I walked in, even though I didn’t have a reservation.
Hats off to Roberto Terradillos and his team. He was kind enough to come to the table and we had a nice 15 min talk about food and wine which is not usual lately coming from high rated chefs.
Terra Palencia will definitely be part of the Michelin guide sooner than later.

Excelente y sofisticado menú degustación (6 pases, más 3 aperitivos) con productos de proximidad, con exquisita presentación, por 60,75€.

Servido por un equipo muy profesional y amable, y en un entorno agradable, acompañado de una música de fondo que invitaba a la relajación y al disfrute de la comida.

Aunque al menú se le puede añadir un maridaje de 6 vinos, (27€ pax) nos dejamos aconsejar por el maître que seleccionó, para nuestra sorpresa, un vino blanco, que resulto ser todo un acierto.

Un restaurante que demuestra que la buena cocina no tiene por que tener, necesariamente, precios desorbitados, y que invita a volver.

Excellent and sophisticated tasting menu (6 courses, plus 3 appetizers) with local products, with exquisite presentation, for €60.75.

Served by a very professional and friendly team, and in a pleasant environment, accompanied by background music that invited relaxation and enjoyment of the food.

Although a pairing of 6 wines can be added to the menu, (€27 pax) we let ourselves be advised by the maître who selected, to our surprise, a white wine, which turned out to be a complete success.

A restaurant that shows that good cuisine does not necessarily have to have exorbitant prices, and that invites you to return.
