Food was gorgeous! Loved the shrimp croquette with spicy Mexican sauce, so tasty! And their signature sauce that comes with the clam - my favourate! The source with oyster was fantastic as well, it brings even better the freshness of oyster out and balance over the fish taste with mild fresh sourness.

Paella was very tasty, and the black Trumpet mushroom was the highlight - red mullet was very tenderly made.

Cold seafood plate was okay.

We had desert as sweet wine and cocktail- also great!

2 one bite dish + 2 to share per person we are comfortably full, with 2 desert wine and the total price was good of 150.

I will definitely come back here every time when I visit Barcelona again.

Sensational spot for lunch. We popped in for a late lunch and it was nice and quiet (just 2 other tables). Service was excellent and friendly and English was spoken.
Beautiful decor - very stylish and modern.
The food was so delicious, and it looked just as good as it tasted! Nice wine list too.

Booked this for my birthday, they were really considerate regarding my allergy and even gave me a customised menu. Food was insane, interesting pairings with a good balance between innovation and simple high quality ingredients. The ambiance was cozy and the food matched the vibe.
Tried a fantastic humboldt 1997, really interning find.
Overall the  service was great, highly recommend this gem.

Food wise- i can understand why they are
recommended by Michelin guide. Great food , interesting combinations and variations .

Major disappointment was the service- we have a background working and dining in high end restaurants and we had a bad service experience tonight. We specifically asked to seat on the bar because we like the interaction with the staff and usually it is the best dining experience a restaurant can offer.

Unfortunately, from the beginning of our dinner the interaction was almost nonexistent as it took the bartender around 15 minutes to approach us and take order.

No water refill was given by him nor wine refill as well( we ordered a bottle) , not even after an
eye contact or moving the empty glasses towards the bottle. Unbelievable as the bar is extremely small.
Luckily, other waiter was helpful enough to do the basics expected from a top notch restaurant.

Another issue was a minor argument before paying the bill as they charged us for a dessert we asked to replace ( the chocolate sponge cake was unfortunately awful)
But eventually they took it off the bill. BIG NO in service.

Maybe it was a bad service night, but it is totally unacceptable for this type of restaurants.

I can only recommend the food which was great and interesting.

Sincerely hope that the management would read this and take it as a constructive review.

I go to dip my spoon into the little round cylinder of food on my plate. I find the outer surface of this dessert is hard. I add pressure... "CRACK!" I break through a charred outer layer and my spoon crashes down onto the stone plate below, sounding throughout the bar. "Wow! That was a surprise!," I think. "I wonder if the taste of this is going to be equally as shocking?" And, oh my... yes, yes it was... What followed was one of the most complex, interesting, and delicious desserts of my life. Best described in a four part profile:

1. Intense peanut foward flavor. The actual nut, not a butter.
2. Five seconds later, the peanut starts to wane (but never fully takes it's leave) and gives way to a sweet and acidic citrus; I honestly wonder for a second if this is some sort of ceviche dish and there was an order mixup due to our language barrier. The texture of the tatin is exactly similar to a ceviche as well. I can say this all with clear surety as I happened to have the ceviche as an appetizer! But no. There is no fish flavor at all! Just a little nod to this meal's very beginnings before the third act:
3. A caramel, toffee flavor kicks in. Ahh this IS the dessert after all! My Spanish confidence remains. An uncommanded smile forces it's way onto my face as I begin to realize the impact of this moment -  this is not just another meal.
4. The peanut flavor is long gone, I don't even remember when it left. The caramel turns into a dark, charred flavor - that outer crust I first came in contact with, finally making it's appearance on the tongue, but only at the very end of the performance.

What a show..

Encore? No. I'm thinking, realistically, I will never have this dessert again in my life and that idea gets me close to tears. It reminds me of the fleeting nature of my travels. My desire to see the whole world leaves me seeing places at a glance and then leaving, on to the next adventure. I can not see it all if I linger too long. Barcelona is the last stop on my road trip through the Iberian peninsula and it's hitting me. Will I return in my lifetime? I don't know.. but the memories will stay.
