I had the most incredible experience dining at Honest Greens! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The interior is beautifully designed, with a modern yet cozy feel that’s perfect for both a quick bite or a leisurely meal. The staff was equally welcoming, offering excellent service throughout my visit.

Now, let’s talk about the food – simply outstanding! Honest Greens offers a wide variety of fresh, vibrant, and healthy dishes that cater to a range of dietary preferences. I had the chance to try their signature bowls and each one was packed with flavor. The ingredients were super fresh, and I loved how every bite felt like a burst of nutrition. The grilled vegetables were perfectly cooked, the grains were rich and satisfying, and the sauces were a delightful complement to everything.

I was born in 1972 to a father who was a foodie.  Food has been a part of my life from a very young age.   My dad was always bringing home new things to try.  I was conditioned to appreciate food early on when I would see his face light up or the opposite, express disappointment.  As a child I needed to understand why he changed and the cause of it, creating as you guessed it, my own nuanced experiences with food.

Why am I sharing this with you, in regards to a “chain” restaurant, especially one in one of the most profound food towns of the world?  Because we came here TWICE during our stay in Barcelona.  A town where one could go a lifetime and never eat at the same place twice.  It was that good for us!

It takes a lot to blow minds in with simple food, mass produced but these folks are doing it.  The ingredients are fresh and the flavors are well developed.  I am glad we found it this late in our time in the city or else we would have been tempted to eat here more, neglecting some amazing meals we have had!

Pro tip: Get the sweet potato fries!  The plant based aioli with the beet ketchup is like crack!

No healthy place better than this!
Everything is absolutely delicious with lots of flavor.
The kitchen works really fast and the staff is very friendly.
My goal is to definitely try the entire menu and I’m working on it.

Deserts are out of this world.
Matcha latte, matcha cake… all of it!

I will return to Spain just for this food chain. So refreshing to find healthy, fresh food at affordable prices. And a clean kitchen. The entire preparation process can be witnessed as kitchen is open plan and assembling quiet impressive. No more dodgy restaurants where you wonder where the food appears from. Brilliant concept and a wonderful find for me as a plant-based eater who values my health. Eaten there twice during my stay and both times food order came out only after enquiring and after waiting longer than 30 minutes despite having a tag. They weren't too busy either during those times (breakfast and supper).  I never have this issue at the other branches. They are also not as alert and helpful as at others. Maybe it is because they assume everyone can speak and understand Spanish?

Honest Greens is a great place to have breakfast, brunch or a healthy lunch in Barcelona.
There are several locations in the city's most central districts.
The menu offers toasts and bowls to be composed as you wish, but also meat dishes, fish, hummus and falafel.
All the ingredients are of excellent quality and the flavours resulting from the combinations offered are fantastic.
