Our recent three-night stay at the Neri Hotel in Barcelona was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we checked in, Thomas went above and beyond to make us feel like royalty. His warm welcome and personalized attention set the tone for what turned out to be an absolutely charming experience.

The entire staff at the Neri Hotel and Restaurant was exceptional—friendly, welcoming, and always attentive to our every need. Special thanks to Ellie, who went out of her way to assist us with taxi and dinner reservations. Her efficiency and helpfulness made our trip all the more seamless and enjoyable.

Our room was perfectly appointed, offering a blend of comfort and elegance that made it a peaceful retreat after exploring the city. The hotel itself is steeped in history, as are the surrounding areas, adding an extra layer of magic to our visit. Its prime location, close to everything yet tucked away in a charming and quiet corner, made it the ideal base for discovering Barcelona.

From the dining to the accommodations and everything in between, every moment of our stay was memorable. Every chance I get, I book a room here. It’s so elegant and beautiful. The service is great. The location is tucked away in a quieter spot in the Gothic neighborhood, close to everything but still peaceful among the crowds. The restaurant here is very good too. Truly a 5 star experience that feels quaint and relaxing and very comfortable. Top quality all around!

I loved the hotel and staff.  Miranda was one of the stellar concierge staff. She had incredible suggestions and helped us set up reservations.. She took her time with us and provided us with great ideas..She KNOWS  Barcelona.
There was another female concierge and am so sorry i forgot her name she was also helpful and instructive and had great ideas for things to do ..She also helped us to make reservations. and helped us rent a car etc... This is a great Hotel in the OLD part of Barcelona

Hotel Neri, located in the heart of Barcelona’s Gothic Quarter, is an outstanding, unique boutique hotel. It offers a prime location to explore Barcelona, less than a block from the Cathedral and just a short walk to La Rambla and the Picasso Museum. The service is attentive and professional. The rooms are spacious and uniquely designed, with decor that beautifully combines modern style with the building’s historic charm as a converted castle. Breakfast was also delicious featuring, pastries, eggs, and yogurt. The per room price was a little high, but Hotel Neri offers a great value.

We stayed at Hotel Neri for 10 days in September 2024.

The entire hotel experience in this small boutique hotel was excellent.

The hotel is a historic old palace that has been converted in 22 luxury hotel rooms over 4 floors.

The hotel was impeccably clean. All of the staff from the front desk, to the restaurant waiters to the cleaning staff were friendly, polite and responsive. A special shout out to the very friendly Tomas who went out of our way to make our stay great.

The hotel location was also excellent being right in the heart of the very historic Gothic Quarter.

I would stay here again and would highly recommend it to anybody wanting to visit Barcelona.

One small suggestion I would have would be for the hotel to set up an urn of water with glasses so you could have a nice glass of water when you come in from touring.  Even though they would bring as many bottles of water to your room as you need, a lobby water station could also have bottles of water available to simply take back up to your room.
