Really gorgeous location... What a find. The food was really fantastic and the staff were all friendly and engaging. The stairs down to the restaurant help build excitement for whats to come... Feels like you're discovering a hidden gem.

We brought our 2 month old son and he was very welcomed. You would need to wear a child that small as there is no way you're getting a pushchair in there. But if you're flexible its worth it.

We'd go back here again for sure!

A wonderful family owned restaurant, in the center of Besalu and in business since 1981.
You can sit indoors but the terrace has great views of the medieval bridge. They have a dinner menu out of which you can choose starter, main and dessert for 45 Euros pp without drinks. Definitely worth the experience. We had chicken filled cannellonis as starter, sweet sour rabbit (speciality of the house) and cheese cake with coffee cortado. Enjoyed all the dishes, great dinning experience!

Phenomenal place to eat.  The views of the old bridge while eating are beyond description.  While it was really hot the day we were there, the shaded patio they have overlooking the river and bridge stayed cool.  I found the food to be really well done with unique flavors that blended well.  It is more expensive than other places, but it is definitely worth the price.  They also focus on quality over quantity as well.  I highly recommend.  This place is worth the trip alone, but Besalu is a hidden gem of a place as well.

We really enjoyed our experience here, the food was fantastic, great service and it's an amazingly situated restaurant with a great view. We got the seafood set menu and a la cart cold tomatoe soup and scallops. We ordered a Rose wine, the day was super hot, and it was also very nice. Even though it's a nice restaurant bordering on fine dining it has a casual/comfotable feel and is welcome to children. Our favorite dishes were the scallops,  cod stuffed cannelloni, and housemade strawberry sorbet. The cold tomatoe soup was incredibly refreshing.
