Not only did the exterior not match the interior atmosphere but also it disappointed us in every sense of the word. The food was subpar at best, if we were to ignore the raw fat tissue on the steak and the surprising gumminess of the fish. High hopes were had for the desert (Crema catalana) however the unwelcomed smudges on the plate as well as the overly smoky aftertaste dimmed the experience. If only the service would have been good, this review might have stayed between me and my colleague.

A very welcoming restaurant.  The food was fantastic with portion sizes just about right to enable you to enjoy a 3 course meal without it being too heavy on the stomach.  The venue offers great value for money and the presentation is really good too.

Good price and varied, healthy choices for a lunch menu in central Girona. Service is quick and efficient. However quality of food could be better -I paid 6€ extra for a salmon main dish that was not fresh of the day.

We stopped in for lunch here in late January. The decor is warm and inviting. Quite a lot of people were in. I ordered the menu of the day for 15euros. My broccoli & cauliflower au gratin was very good. My choice of mixed paella turned out to be poor choice. The paella was served barely warm, not much flavor, rice overcooked, the 2 tiny pieces of meat were super tough and the 2 small mussels and squid pieces were tough & unmemorable. I’ve had quite a few paella and this was the worst. My desert was a local cake with dried fruits in it. It was just ok. For value it was a good price. I wish I had chosen something that required them to cook fresh for my second plate. Since the paella felt like it was precooked and very boring.
