I had high expectations for this place. The ambiance was great, and the staff was professional. However, I was a bit disappointed by the tomato salad and aubergine dish. The paella, on the other hand, was good, and they have a great wine selection.

We had such a wonderful dinner at Vicus! Beautiful understated decor in the front room with lovely classic accents (check out the gorgeous old bar). The service was nothing short of perfect. Relaxed, friendly, but also hugely helpful with my wife's allergy and a great wine recommendation. The food was superb throughout. Standout were the rice with pork ribs, the fresh tomato/melon salad and the smoky aubergine/eel dish, but everything was fresh and excellent.

Excellent and creative cuisine - the toasted brioche with tuna tartare is to die for. As is the rice. The cheese tart made with local cheese is excellent, soft texture and very local. The wine list is well selected as well, and the owner/sommelier very knowledgeable and helpful.

This was our first visit to Vicus after our neighbours recommended it and what a recommendation it was! The food is incredible, beautifully presented, perfect size portions and most importantly mouth wateringly delicious. Highly recommend!

I enjoyed a superb meal here as a solo diner.  They prepared half portions of some of the smaller dishes so that I could try a variety of things.  The highlights for me were the mackerel, black rice, and lemon custard dessert; but everything was good, and the service excellent.  Try this restaurant.
