My wife and I are vacationing in Madrid. Not realizing that most restaurants open their kitchens for dinner at 2030 hours (8:30 PM), we wanted to have something to beat off the pangs of hunger. We happened to see La Barra de la beinterrado and took a chance. The waiter, Omar, was pleasant, helpful and attentive. Our steak sandwich was a tasty treat; the beer was nice and cold, and the wine delicious. The restaurant was clean and well lite, and also has an outdoor cafe, pictured below.

The interior is kind of nice, which is why we spontaneously entered. However, the food was not good with cold french fries and bad meat quality. The service was very unfriendly and we had to go to the counter every time we wanted to be serviced. Even the toilet was partially broken, but at least they had soap to wash the hands. I do not recommend to come here.

If i could give this place a 0 i would. Terrible service, extremely unprofessional staff, dirty, employees playing music from their phone and twerking, and took almost 1 hr for three plates and she forgot one of them anyways. Ordered meatballs and they came extremely undercooked basically raw. avoid. avoid. avoid.
