Although it looked like it wasn’t enough food, we ended up satisfied. Staff was super welcoming and attentive. Every plate tasted really good and fresh. Would definitely recommend trying, not only because of the quality of the food but the experience of having the chef cooking in front of you.

Original and authentic Japanese offerings at Izariya - a small group with most restaurants actually located in Japan. The space is compact and has few private booths and a bar - only 23 sittings in total per service. The food is not the sort you'll find in a trendy Japanese or fusion restaurant, but actually more of a home cooked, cosy style with good quality ingredients. The tempura dishes, particulary the hake cheeks and asparagus  - were super tasty, and the sushi board with a flight of well combined incremental flavours was a delight. We opted for the 70€ taster menu and added in a cheeky godello wine which made for a nice combo. Service was professional and efficient. Go with the pretense of eating a good meal - no singing, dancing or fireworks, just good Japanese food.
