I want to make sure that I give a fair review because the staff were wonderful and the location was great. But there were also some significant drawbacks that made me give a three-star review.

To start, the location was absolutely fantastic. If you don't decide to stay at the hat, please do stay in the nearby area. This location is excellent.

The staff were very lovely from check-in to check out and were happy to help with any recommendations or questions that we had. However, there was the issue of sound or noise pollution in the hallways. While I initially thought that it was coming from other guests, and some of it was, the cleaning staff in the morning was so noisy, I was very shocked! They do give you a pair of ear plugs in the room, but almost nothing could have kept out that noise. So while the staff was very lovely and personable, some of them were also exceptionally noisy.

Of course, a hostel is not going to generally be the quietest place. And there were many people of all different ages in the building. But I do think this was one of the noisiest hostels I have ever encountered. It might not be the people, it could have to do with the building itself, or it could have just been our room. I only was able to experience the one room and so I'm unsure if all of them allow in that much noise.

The amenities were lovely. They have a kitchen, they have laundry, they have nightly pub crawls, they have a lot of activities available for everyone. This is clearly a hostel that wants to take care of the travelers.

Our room felt kind of dirty. It had cement floors and when I was walking on them in bare feet it felt gritty. In the common areas, some of the furniture was unclean and did not make us want to sit on it. I'm sure that it was clean in general, but it did not make me want to spend time in the common areas at all.

I would give the staff five stars, the location five stars, but based on the interrupted sleeps that I had each night and the weird and somewhat unclean vibes if the common and private spaces, I am giving the location overall three stars.

One of the best hostels I've stayed in. Great location, quiet,  comfortable rooms and beds ( we stayed in a 4 bed dorm), great breakfasts and very clean. Free water and a nice downstairs kitchen and roof top bar, also. I can't say enough about the staff. Super friendly and professional and full of great recommendations for local food that we wouldn't have found otherwise.  And We had a problem with our reservation ( my fault) after a long flight, and they worked thru it with a very creative solution and smile . All around, a great place!

The best hostel I’ve stayed in! The staff were super helpful with recommendations and were really lovely. It was super easy to meet people and be social, with the perfect amount of events and activities. Common spaces were great and rooms were super clean. It was in a great location too! I loved my time here and met so many lovely people.

Spent 3 nights here and really enjoyed my stay! The rooftop bar (pictured) is a great spot to grab a snack and drink during happy hour! The staff is very friendly and they have a ton of recommendations! Also you are super close to everything. Many restaurants, cafes and main squares I visited are only a 10 min walk or less!

Really nice place and lovely people. They have plenty of activities to do and such a great location. Plus I’ve never had nicer showers in a hostel before haha
