Excellent tapas bar with an elevated take on traditional plates. It is a bit more expensive than many good tapas locations in Valencia, but the quality of the food and nice portions make it worth it. Ricard Camarena restaurants are always a step above. They have an excellent wine selection and many options for vegetarians and non-drinkers, which is not always the case in Spanish restaurants. Service is very friendly and helpful. It is also in the Mercado de Colón, which is such a fun place for food and drink. Update: excellent the 2nd and 3rd time we have visited. The flavors are exceptional and the corvina is amazing. The bikini was excellent as were the ham and cheese croquetas. Everyone loved the chocolate cake as well.

As always, Ricard Camarena restaurants have the top quality ingredients. The brioche is out of this world. They were very accommodating to out of menu orders also. I still prefer the Central Bar, but if you want to sit on a table, definitely come to Bar X.

Located in Mercado de Colon in Valencia. Great service, very attentive servers. Loved the food and ambiance is very heap. Again we over ordered. Best to reserve a table. If not you can wait in line to sit by the bar area. It was worth the wait.

Another fantastic meal at one of Ricard's joints. We had a late lunch here at the market and the food was great.

The truffled grilled cheese was lovely. And the jamon croquettes were elite. Also really enjoyed the figatels and the torrija dessert is a must order dish!

Yes, you do have to wait. Yes, it is worth it.
Looks like a typical Spanish bar but the flavors are out of this world. Very rich and intense flavors.
Very friendly service which made the experience even nicer.
It may look expensive compared with other local bars but it’s worth it! Trust me!
They do NOT have menu of the day or reservation options.
