We stoped here in our way to Portugal with a mission to have good tapas.  We ordered 17 of them. All were excellent!  The ingredients were fresh and full of flavor.  Pintxo Jamon had amazing tomato base, more tasty than what we tried in bigger cities. The young staff was super friendly and helpful and they spoke good English. We highly recommend Tolono.

Well elaborated & presented tapas and pinchos. They all had plenty of flavours too. Our favorite from "Nuestros Hits" was Txangurro Barra (a crab cocktail). The local wine both red and white from Marqués de Vitoria, a fairly local winery were excellent value in relation to their quality. Service was ok but you have to order and pay at bar,

Very good food, lots of choices of typical pintxos and some particular plate from the kitchen. As most of the bar in this part of Spain there is no table service: you go to the counter and get what you want. the waiters are really cordial and they'll explain every pintxos so you can decide.
The location is very centric and the interior design is modern and comfortable.

We found this in wonderful restaurant and were told we could eat at the bar but after the food we ordered they found us a corner of the restaurant. The beef cheek was as to die for ! Out of this world ! Sorry no pics

Excellent and popular pintxos bar, right in the centre of Vitoria. Looks like a smart place and they have a large terrace outside and people spilling onto the street. Their thing seems to be high-end pintxos but at fair prices. The best pintxos we had in the city.
