Very good food and great staff, however we were sat at a table which was basically outside of the restaurant area and very close to the public road.

Galaxia is a surprisingly true immersive gastronomic and themed voyage: in a suburban neighbourhood of Badajoz, among typical shops and blocks, suddenly appears a provocatively modernistic  facade and you have arrived. You stay shell-chocked looking at the enormous circular windows ala submarine windows and slowly deduct one of them as sculpturally different, so you get your act together and carefully try to push while you magically enter the rocket interiors of restaurant Galaxia, designed and build more than 40 years ago.

The bar is full, so we are fully embraced by Spanish noise levels while we fight our way to the comedor, where we are received by the informal team of waiters, we study the online menu and the charismatic “master of ceremonies” join us to explain the specials; he laughs loudly when we react positively to the Ox Tail Stew, which we had (after the shrimp with crunchy garlic plus the deep-fried lamb chops) combined with a solomilo, delicious fries, en excellent Chardonnay, a chocolate cake, coffees and water for €130, which is excellent price for quality.

The benefit of the noise level is that no screaming baby or loud group of foreigners will ever get a chance to impact our fabulos experience.

What a surprisingly amazing adventure.
