We had an absolutely amazing dining experience. The tasting menu and wine pairings were delicious. Best rockfish I have ever had! The service was stellar!

We had the most amazing dinner at Borona Bistro. We chose the largest  tasting menu and everything was absolutely delicious. We loved every dish, especially the gazpacho with cucumber sorbet and the red mullet with oloroso.  Every dish  was very creatively prepared and presented.  The service is excellent too. Overall, it was a terrific experience . We look forward to returning. Very highly recommended.

The score should be somewhere between three and four stars.
We were there for dinner and had an overall pleasant experience. We opted for the more elaborate menu.
The starters were probably my favourite course together with the deserts. Four different small plates, all interesting and tasty.
These were followed by a dense soup with summer vegetables. This was also good.
The following dish was fish and, unfortunately, was largely not enough cooked, to a point I could not finish my dish.
Then it was fois gras and meat on Jerusalem artichokes and pistachios. Lovely taste - but would have also benefited from 30 seconds more cooking.
Deserts were fresh and lovely.
The staff was nice, friendly, and helpful.

The bill for two stood at 200 eur. That felt OK ( it could have been 185-190 and would have also been good).

Without the issues with the cooking of the fish (and partly of the fois gras), it would have been a solid 4 stars.

We had a wonderful meal at this restaurant!  We chose the smaller tasting menu and everything was absolutely delicious - especially the lamb and migas.  The service was kind and attentive and the chef was friendly, delightful and clearly very talented.  He even gave us restaurant recommendations for the rest of our trip.  Overall, it was a terrific experience and excellent value as well.  We look forward to returning.

Outstanding food and service. We did the Jaramago menu with wine pairing. Highly recommended.
Also, we came with our 3 year old son and they made our stay as comfortable as possible. Even heating up his food and waiting for him to eat to start service.
I will not hesitate to come back if I’m in Cáceres.
