Clean rooms. Hugo explained everything very clearly and gave excellent recommendations. Breakfast was amazing! My favorite was saffron herring and truffle salami. Beds and pillows are comfortable, good shower and hair dryer. This was my favourite hotel during my trip, would love to visit again one day.

Haven't booked here yet but thought a staff member in particular deserved a shoutout,Hugo,me and my partner showed interest in the ruins and got a spectacular guiding and also got to see some of the hotel,super friendly and happy to answer any questions,got the impression that he genuinely cares about the history and sharing it🌻☀️

This hotel is a gem! Everything about our stay was amazing. Super neat to stay so close to ancient ruins. The room was clean and cozy. The bathroom floor had radiant heating. The food for afternoon tea and breakfast was so delicious! It was great to sample some of the Swedish and Visby foods. The honeybees on the property also produce different flavored honey depending on the season and which flowers they’re harvesting from. If you’re coming to Gotland and staying in Visby, I highly recommend this hotel!!

This place is heaven. We tried other hotels in Visby and keep coming back. Amazing service, location, rooms, etc. It is a true gem!

This place was incredible! The ruins that are now owned by the hotel are beautiful, the room was fantastic and cute, the beds were incredibly comfortable, the location was perfect (far enough away from noise and close enough to everything), and the service was outstanding! Molly helped us with a number of recommendations and was so kind when we had some troubles with our credit card. The only downside was that we couldn't stay longer! Will definitely book again here when we return to Gotland.
