From May 17th to September 29th, the Café & Service at the Tännforsen Tourist Station welcomes guests daily from 10:00 AM until all visitors have left. Here you can savor homemade pastries, aromatic coffee, and light meals — a perfect treat after your hike. Keep in mind the closing times depend on weather conditions, so be sure to check ahead.
For pilgrims journeying along the historic S:t Olavsleden trail, the Pilgrim House offers a welcoming retreat. Exclusively available to those with pilgrim passports, it features cozy accommodations with 4+4 beds in separate rooms, modern amenities including WC, shower, a fully-equipped kitchen, TV, and WiFi. Meal options such as dinner, breakfast, and lunch can be arranged, providing a restful and supportive stop on your spiritual walk.
Travelers arriving by motorhome will appreciate the designated Motorhome Parking area, which offers nine spots equipped with electricity and a convenient service house featuring shower and WC facilities. No advance booking is necessary; the parking fee can be paid easily by credit card, via Easy Park, or at the tourist station when it’s open. Note that camping and campfires are prohibited to protect the pristine environment.
