We had an amazing experience at Faviken Magasinet in may 2018. The pictures of the food cannot describe the taste-journey You get invited on throughout the menu of more that 30 different servings. All the servings had a distinct and variation in taste, they were of good sizes, the wine pairing was well thought thru - we dont have a single bad thing to say except that they refilled our glasses a bit too fast (if possible when it comes to expensive wine) but it really was up to us how fast/much to drink.
I really recommend You to try and book rooms to sleep in to keep the feeling after the dinner and to get a taste of the best breakfast I've ever had.

We were so lucky to get a booking and stay at the hotel. It was the most wonderful experience! We drove from Trondheim to Faviken and then spent the night there. We got a tour of the gardens were the gardener (also a chef) gave us a wonderful tour of the garden and what gets grown. The views were spectacular and we were blessed with stunning views. It's best to go in with no expectations because you will be pleasantly surprised. Go early if you are staying the night and definitely use the sauna and drink some beers while you are there. The food is amazing and the service matches th quality of the food.

This is such a special place and experience that it is nearly impossible to describe. It deserves at least 7 stars. The food, atmosphere and people working at Fäviken created an extraordinary evening we will remember and cherish for years to come. Thank you Magnus and team!

Incredible dinner! I ate on the sharing table with 7 strangers and couldn't of felt more at home. The wine pairing is in perfect harmony with the food, which are out of this world! Highlight would be the bird liver & malted cabbage, king crab, potato dream and the chardonnay! Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to experience world class cuisine and service.

We drove 2.000 km and slept in a tent in the pouring rain to be here - and didn't regret it for a second. The food, the service, the ambience, the location were all perfect. Thanks for making this a great anniversary celebration!
