Charming old-fashioned house that is now a café. The rustic setting in the vicinity of a Nature reserve provides a fast-foward to a countryside getaway.

Within the café, we found a display of various sweet temptations - cakes, desserts, sandwiches and biscuits. On the lunch menu were choices of salads and meats.

We wished very, very much that we could have liked the food more as we loved the ambiance and how this café retained a tradition house by having a business here.

Not so used to the reddish sauce instead of the traditional brown sauce. The meatballs were a good medium size. This version uses veal. The pickles and lingonberries were bland. A saving grace was the mashed potatoes which were light and savoury.

Some good burnt parts though most of the cheesecake became a puddle after it was cut. So it was like eating vanilla cream with strawberry sauce.

Couldn't imagine a calmer place in the heart of nature to relax at and have something tasty to grab for a lunch or Fika.
You may stop by at your hike or bike tour at this farm style eatery.
There are only 8-10 kind of main dishes to choose from but you will find fish, brisket, köttbullar, hamburger or salad as well. The food is not so large so you can easily enjoy some sweets afterwards but everything we tasted were super delicious, juicy and yammy.
The restaurant is semi self service but the staff is very kind and around to help you.
We absolutely enjoyed our time there and can only recommend to others too.

Charming little cafe in middle of no where(at least that’s the vibe) The food was fresh and the fish tacos were amazing.Only bad part was the quantity as it was only 2🥹.The Caesar salad was very good and fresh.With fall colours and Halloween the place just looks like out of a movie.Staff was very responsive and sweet.The complementary  bread was really good and fresh so don’t miss out on it.Coffee was great too with some options for pastries and buns.

Had a delicious lunch here of Swedish meatballs and a latte. My wife had some pulled pork that was also great. Not Carolina bbq great but they have their own smoker and use it well.
The restaurant is in an old renovated house sat between a field and a forest. It’s a great example of beautiful Swedish countryside while so close to the city.
