Service was fine, but food almost inedible. Meatballs that were obviously out of a frozen bag. Small serving size, meatballs were still cold in the middle. Tasteless mashed potato. They might even have removed some of their signage because of the bad reviews, I couldn't find their name from the street.

worst place in Stockholm! To avoid at all costs!

Very expensive. Very low quality food. Very low service quality. Extremely rude staff. You'll be eating on dirty tablecloths on which many other customers have already eaten during the day. As I asked to change the tablecloth, the waiter said they can't do it and ignored us. As soon as they see you're not going to spend a lot of money, they become very rude. That happened to us and to the table next to us.

When it came to pay, the waiter asked about the service, I said it was very bad that the tables were dirty. He answered, we have too many customers, we can't change the table cloths. Then he asked, how much tip you want to pay? I said nothing. He insisted asking my friends also.

Avoid this place like hell!

This place is an absolute tourist trap with over priced food and drinks. We had a dish of meatballs for 150 krons (it was discounted from 190!), but we decided to go ahead trusting that quality and quantity would go along with the price. The quality was very poor and the portions were ridiculous: 4 small meatballs that could be served in any plane, some artificial mashed potatoes and a bunch of McDonald's lookalike pickles...

However, the biggest scam was on the drinks. We asked for a wine recommendation, and literally no wine was below 400 krons, therefore we decided to go for some tap water, which was denied to us (most places in Stockholm do serve you tap water), and we had to purchase a bottle of water of 50cl which went up to 75 krons (this is over 7 euros...).

I literally have very few positive things to say about this restaurant, perhaps the fact that decoration and music were decent I guess...

Overall, very poor in all of its aspects. We paid for about 200 krons each for average meatballs + a glass of water. Do yourself a favour and avoid this place.

Definitely a tourist trap. We just wanted to try some Swedish food and thought any place in Gamla Stan would be decent. The service was so poor, it's hard to describe. The food was average and portions were too small (for a homely dish like swedish meatballs). Goulash Soup was basically tomatoes and meat in water, no flavour. The waiter tried to charge us 65KR per water and was extremely argumentative when we expressed our concern over the price that hadn't even been mentioned on the menu, so we paid 45KR per water instead which was still highly overpriced as we had expected just normal tap water. Avoid at all costs.

Very dishonest restaurant. I and my wife got lured into the restaurant by the prices posted outside the door, only to find that the prices are different on the menu once sat down. The staff kept recommending the fish appetiser for two while the price on the menu was just for one, as we only found that they charged us 2x the listed price when the bill came. We asked for warm water and gave us cold tap water and charged us SEK39 each. The staff also asked us if we wanted garlic bread and gave us a small basket each, so that they can charge us for two. Horrible experience on Xmas eve!
