Ideal location to be close to the city centre. Nice sized room, comfy bed, plenty of hot water (i do like a 30 minute shower).

Was a Tuesday so no roofparty. Weekend expect  noise is what I read on lots of reviews.

Really nice city, will be back again for sure.

Hotel is just 5-10min walking from city center. Breakfast very generous for being included. The thing I didn’t like very much is the quality of rooms… furniture is getting old and not very well maintained and should really be improved. Cleanness could also be improved, room was not specifically dirty but could be cleaner (a lot of dust around)

Very nice hotel with tasty and high quality breakfasts, however regarding rooms I have 2 small notes: if we book room for 4 people and hotel is not giving bottled water, they should leave 4 glasses, not 2. Also, we booked a room with 1 double bed and 2 couches and we got 1 double bed, one couch and one very inconvenient tourist bed. Quality of sleep for one person was inconvenient.

Great location and rooms are functional and provide the basics for what you need for a city break to Gothenburg. However, we stayed two nights , Friday and Saturday , and each night were kept awake by the banging music from the roof bar vibrating through our room on the 4th floor. How a hotel can pretend to offer a restful break whilst offering a nightclub on the roof is beyond me . If you want rest and a good night sleep give this place a miss. WONT BE STAYING Again.

Disappointing and not a humble customer service. My wife and I had just married. When we arrived, we were kindly enough offered a double bed. When we came to our room, however, it wasn’t equipped with a double bed. The receptionists offered us a deduction of the first night, which we of course appreciated. The next day, the soap in the shower and the sink ran out. We informed the reception a couple of times concerning this. When we came back to our room at around 11 at night, after a long day in Liseberg, full of sun lotion, the soap still hadn’t been refilled. We informed the reception when we checked out, and they offered us a gift card as compensation. After some time after returning home, we hadn’t received any gift cards or any information, so I contacted the hotel by e-mail. First they referred to the first night the compensated us for, to which I replied was another matter. Then the CEO, Marcus Nordlund, answered that they’re not going to compensate us any further, as they had already done so. Again, I replied that we hadn’t received the compensation which they themselves had offered us – it wasn’t our initiative. I didn’t get anywhere with Nordlund in our further dialogue, and central customer services at Strawberry just forwarded my complaint back to Comfort Hotel Gøteborg. I don’t understand how a professional hotel or a CEO can have such a low level of humility, communication skills and customer service. Extremely disappointing and frustrating.
