I recently visited Down Under Bar, and I have to say, it’s a true gem of an Australian bar. The atmosphere is lively yet relaxed, with a great mix of locals and travelers, all enjoying the laid-back Aussie vibe. But the real star of the show is the kangaroo pie – it’s absolutely delicious!

Flaky, golden pastry envelops a rich, savory filling of tender kangaroo meat, perfectly seasoned with herbs and spices that give it just the right amount of kick. The meat is lean but incredibly flavorful, with a depth that’s hard to find in a typical meat pie. Paired with a cold, crisp local beer, it’s an unforgettable experience.

The best of the place is the beer price and the client service, the bartender are super friendly and easy going.
The place is a little bit small so it can get crowed quite easy. Recommended to arrive faster to have the chance to get a table.

Went for trivia, which is great! Food if very poor, cocktail of the week was delicious ! Great vibes and super friendly staff. Also dog friendly !

This place traumatized me. I made the mistake of taking my drink a few feet outside even though a sign on the door says you must be companied by the staff to do so. But place was super busy and I was super warm and I don't respect this particular law that much as I grew up in Denmark. A bartender noticed me holding the drink when I came back in and said "You can't drink outside". I said "I know, it says on the door". Then he said "Okay, you need to leave". I just said "Okay" and then sat down again because I didn't want to argue. My friend had just gotten us beers so I started drinking those. The bartender came over again a little later and asked "Aren't you leaving?", and I just said "No." He then said "Okay, I am calling the police". I said "Okay", and he then started taking my friend's drinks.

Sure I broke the rules, but immediately kicking me out and not explaining anything to me or warning me of the consequences is so off. Especially after my friend had just paid 400 SEK for a round of beers. I don't recommend this place.
